Cleanup keeps one complete map state per server, season and past UTC day. Other full states from that day are permanently removed; their metadata and events remain. Old finished private scans, unused results and expired temporary records are also removed. Today's map states, published maps, Stats histories, troop observations and Climbers/Killers/Power Atlas data are kept. A fresh preview is shown before confirmation.
- Public map scans retain the latest three usable generations per server.
- Temporary shares, event logs, send history and scanner profiles use TTL indexes.
- Website visits retain the user identity, or only the IP for anonymous visitors, for the configured retention window.
- User scan payloads become maintenance candidates only after the configured retention window.
- Every cleanup run is recorded in an expiring admin audit log.
